When climbing the corporate ladder do not leave companys on bad terms. Always keep reference open and keep your network tight. You never know when the company you left is looking for a certain postition that you would be perfect for. If you leave on good terms they might keep you in the back of their minds and call you when that perfect postition is open. When leaving on good terms they might really push for you to get the job and give you a great reference so you can get that high more senior position.

  1. I agree, like that old saying goes. "It's not how you enter, it's how you leave". When you leave a position for whatever reason, you need to establish a good relaionshipo even after you leave. Another saying fits into this, "It's 50% what and 50% who you know". With business the show must go on, so when we as employees move on we want to make sure the show moves with us and not away from us. Always leave with respect and you will recieve respect back!
